THE PRISDEL STORY

Made for the Good Life.

We believe that cooking good food for your family starts with pure, hygienic, and honest tools. Prisdel was born out of a simple observation in Indian homes: our cutting surfaces were failing us.

Why We Started

The Hidden Danger on Indian Kitchen Slabs

For decades, Indian households relied on wooden and plastic chopping boards. But in a cuisine rich in moisture, turmeric, pungent garlic, and vibrant spices, these materials create serious problems.

Wooden boards absorb cooking liquids and develop microscopic cracks where black fungal mold thrives. Plastic boards shed thousands of microplastic particles with every knife stroke into everyday sabzis, dals, and salads.

At Prisdel, we asked: "Why don't we use the same surgical food-grade stainless steel that professional commercial kitchens and hospitals trust?"

Our Obsession With Detail

The 1.5mm Heavy-Gauge Difference

Most steel cutting boards on the market cut corners by using cheap 0.8mm or 1.0mm sheet metal. These flimsy boards flex under pressure, slide dangerous on counters, and produce jarring metallic clangs.

Prisdel boards are engineered from heavy-gauge 1.5mm solid AISI 304 food-grade stainless steel. They are heavy (nearly 2 kilograms), rock-solid, and feature an innovative 90-degree folded lip that hugs the edge of your countertop slab.
